Ravi is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years building companies, several of which he has spun off from Symphony Corporation. He leverages his industry insight to connect companies that he manages, mentors, or invests in with appropriate Beta clients. This model has served him well, as he has managed and/or invested in extremely successful companies including Symphony Data (acquired by Zavata, now Apollo Street Health), Qik (acquired by Skype for $150 million), SymphonyCare (acquired by MEDSEEK), Liazon Corporation (acquired by Towers Watson for $215 million), and many others.
Ravi served on the Wisconsin Governor’s e-Health Care Quality and Patient Safety Board. The Board was created to develop a strategic plan for statewide adoption and exchange of electronic health records. He also serves on the board of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western Wisconsin Chapter. He earned an M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Tom is an entrepreneur with a background in both successful and unsuccessful start-ups in e-commerce, online advertising, and healthcare. His most recent entrepreneurial endeavor, SymphonyCare, was spun off from Symphony Corporation and acquired by Influence Health (formerly MEDSEEK) in October of 2013. Tom stayed with Symphony Corporation as its Director of Sales and Marketing, and still advises the company on issues that involve marketing, sales, finance, and overall strategy.
For SymphonyAlpha, Tom is the first line of defense in vetting investment opportunities, and is key to developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for portfolio companies. Tom served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica and taught Spanish in Chicago through the Teach For America program. He earned an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He now lives in Chicago, but makes frequent trips to Madison for work and family.

Jonathan Fritz brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial and technology experience to SymphonyAlpha. Jonathan has a cross-disciplinary background in business, digital health, law, and software.
Jonathan is a recovering IP and start-up attorney, and was a partner in a large Midwestern law firm, where he was a member of the Venture Capital, Biotechnology, and Health Law practice groups. In his capacity as outside counsel to technology start-up companies he assisted in, among other things, their strategic growth and complex deal negotiations. This led to Jonathan being the co-founder and COO of a health and fitness software start-up.
Jonathan is passionate about technology and serves on the Wisconsin Technology Council Board of Directors. The Council advises the Governor and Legislature on business and technology, and includes many of Wisconsin’s influential business leaders. Jonathan also serves as a TEDMED Research Scholar and is a Certified Healthcare Executive by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). Jonathan received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Marquette University, his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Hamline University School of Law, and Master’s degree in Bioinformatics jointly from Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Jonathan also serves on the Board of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, is a retired waterski show skier, and an avid golfer.
